Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust , simply known in Japan as Vampire Hunter D, is a 2000 dark fantasy vampire adventure anime film written for the screen and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri. It is based on the 1985 novel Vampire Hunter D: Demon Deathchase by Hideyuki Kikuchi.
